Propecia contains a medicine called finasteride. This belongs to a group of medicinescalled Type II ‘5-alpha reductase inhibitors’.
Propecia is used for the treatment of male pattern hair loss (also known as androgeneticalopecia). Propecia increases hair growth on the scalp and prevents further hair loss inmen. Men with mild to moderate, but not complete hair loss, can benefit from usingPropecia.
How does the hair on your head grow?On average your hair grows about 1 centimetre (half an inch) each month. Hair growsfrom hair follicles, which are located under your skin.
A single scalp hair grows continuously for 2-4 years (growth phase) and then stopsgrowing for 2-4 months (rest phase). After this the hair falls out. In its place a newhealthy hair begins to grow, and the cycle is repeated. The hairs on your scalp arealways in different stages of this cycle so it is normal to lose scalp hair every day.
What is male pattern hair loss?
Male pattern hair loss is a common condition in which men experience thinning of thehair on the scalp, often resulting in a receding hairline and/or balding on the top of thehead. This condition is thought to be caused by a combination of genetic factors and aparticular hormone, DHT (dihydrotestosterone).
DHT causes a decrease in the growth phase and thinning of the hair (see picture). Thisleads to male pattern hair loss. These changes can start to occur in some men in their20s and become more common with age. Once hair loss has occurred over a longperiod of time, the hair may be permanently lost.

Hair grows normally in a normal scalp (not in a receding hairline or balding on the top of the head). He or sheulnerability to DHT: DHT binds to the receptors in the scalp that help to lower the levels of DHT in the bloodstream, thereby slowing the growth of hairHair loss can be controlled by stopping the growth phase of hair (growth phase phase). Propecia onags onto a normal scalp and triggers the loss of hair.
Propecia triggers the loss of hair by inhibiting the action of DHT on the scalp. This process leads to the suppression of the anagen hair growth phase and the inhibition of the telogen phase. Hair follicles that are normallyINO male (the last growth phase of a normal scalp) are now inactive and hair loss is controlled by stopping the hair growth phase.

Take 1 tablet with water (1 tablet is sufficient for all men) and it is taken every day.1 tablet will usually help to reduce the size of the hair on your head. 1 tablet is usually taken 1-2 hours before sex. The tablets are coated in a film so that they do not get absorbed into the body. The film coating prevents them from becoming absorbed. This medication is available from Dr Fox pharmacy as Propecia 1 tablet.
HOW TO TAKE Propecia:
Follow all directions given to you by your doctor. Keep the tablets in a cool, dry place where the temperature stays below 25℃. Do not store above 25℃. If you are using a disposable syringe, give the tablet a clean, dry place so that it is always clean. If you do not, a small amount of a medication can leave a residue on the syringe. Wash your hands thoroughly before and after use. Do not use a kitchen teaspoon to measure a dose of medication. Drink a small amount of water while using Propecia 1 tablet. Do not allow the tablets to dry before putting them on the skin. Do not apply it to the scalp. If you are applying Propecia to the skin it is not recommended that you cover the area with a dry, cold towel. Do not use a kitchen spoon as this will not affect the medication. Do not wash your hands thoroughly before and after use. If you are using a disposable syringe, the dose you are taking will not affect the medication. You will still need to use Propecia 1 tablet each day, but at a lower dose.

A study published in the British Medical Journal (BMJ) in June found that finasteride, another popular medication for treating benign prostatic hypertrophy, may offer some benefit in the treatment of male pattern hair loss.
“The effect is similar to that of testosterone in the management of benign prostatic hyperplasia,” said Dr. David Graham of the Cleveland Clinic. “However, the results of this study showed no advantage for finasteride.”
Finasteride is prescribed to men with a prostate that is enlarged and has a visible or sharp prostate needle. It is not recommended for use in women, men with a history of male pattern hair loss, or people who have undergone surgery to the head.
Finasteride has been approved for medical use in Canada and the United States for a number of clinical indications. It is in clinical trials to be sold as a topical treatment for the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy.
Finasteride is indicated for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia and may be used in the treatment of other conditions.
“Finasteride is a drug that can improve the results of a drug for treating the symptoms of benign prostatic hypertrophy,” Dr. Graham said. “It works by blocking the activity of the enzyme 5-alpha-reductase, which is responsible for converting testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT).”
Finasteride was developed as a drug for the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia, but it has now been approved to treat other conditions. However, the use of finasteride in men with prostate enlargement may have adverse effects on the prostate.
Dr. Graham says he had not seen the results of this study in his clinical trials.
“Finasteride has the potential to have a great effect in the treatment of benign prostatic hyperplasia,” he said. “Finasteride may also be a possible drug for the treatment of male pattern hair loss.
“Finasteride may be used in the treatment of male pattern hair loss, as well as in the treatment of other conditions.”
David Graham, Cleveland ClinicThe British Medical Journal published the findings in the British Medical Journal in June, in a study published in the British Medical Journal. The authors, Dr. David Graham and his team of researchers said that finasteride “is a medication that may have potential advantages for treating benign prostatic hypertrophy.”
They said the results of this study suggested that finasteride was effective in treating benign prostatic hypertrophy in men.
“The benefit of using finasteride in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy is similar to that of testosterone in the management of benign prostatic hypertrophy,” said Dr.
Finasteride has the potential to improve the results of a drug for treating benign prostatic hypertrophy, but the use of finasteride in men with prostate enlargement may have adverse effects on the prostate.
“Finasteride may also be a drug for the treatment of male pattern hair loss, as well as in the treatment of other conditions,” he said.
Graham said that the use of finasteride in men with prostate enlargement may have adverse effects on the prostate.
“The use of finasteride in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy is an indication for the treatment of other conditions,” he said. “Finasteride may also be used in the treatment of other conditions, and this is why this study was performed to evaluate the effect of finasteride in the treatment of benign prostatic hypertrophy.”
Graham said that the results of this study suggested that finasteride was effective in treating benign prostatic hypertrophy in men.
“This is a very interesting finding that was found in our study,” he said.
David Graham of the Cleveland ClinicDavid Graham, who is the director of the Center for Sexual Medicine at Cleveland Clinic, said that finasteride had the potential to improve the results of a drug for treating benign prostatic hypertrophy.

Propecia, also known as finasteride, is a medication primarily used to treat male pattern hair loss (androgenetic alopecia) and benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). Like other medications, Propecia works by blocking the conversion of testosterone to dihydrotestosterone (DHT), a hormone that can contribute to hair loss and promote hair growth in men. Propecia's effectiveness is based on its ability to inhibit the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which converts testosterone to DHT. By doing so, Propecia can reduce the levels of DHT in the body and promote hair growth. By doing so, Propecia can help restore normal hair growth and prevent further hair loss.
Propecia works by inhibiting the action of the enzyme 5-alpha reductase, which converts testosterone into dihydrotestosterone (DHT). By doing so, Propecia reduces the amount of DHT in the body, allowing hair follicles to grow and prevent further hair loss. By doing so, Propecia can help restore normal hair growth and prevent further hair loss, providing relief to individuals experiencing both male and female pattern hair loss. It is important to note that Propecia should only be taken under the guidance of a healthcare professional who can provide personalized advice based on your individual needs and circumstances.
Propecia is generally considered safe when used as directed by a healthcare professional. While it can cause side effects such as decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, and decreased semen volume, it is generally considered to be safe when used as directed by your healthcare provider.

This condition is characterized by hair loss on the vertex and anterior mid-scalp area, while the frontal hairline is thicker and more diffuse in appearance. It can be used as part of a complete treatment regimen for hair loss, although some patients may experience side effects such as decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, or mood swings. It is generally well-tolerated, but there are some common side effects such as decreased libido, erectile dysfunction, or breast tenderness. Common side effects include headache, dizziness, breast tenderness, and skin rash. It is important to follow your doctor’s instructions carefully and report any concerning symptoms to the healthcare professional as soon as possible. The most common side effects of Propecia are sexual dysfunction (male-pattern hair loss) and sexual interest.
